I feel like lately it is one thing after another...
First, I find out on Monday that my former boss, colleague and friend passed away suddenly of a heart attack at age 58. He had shortness of breath on Wednesday (after a run so he didn't associate it with heart symptoms), then had the day off Friday, went for another run, came home and had a heart attack in the shower. He died suddenly. My heart is breaking for his widow. All of us at our office are in shock. Although I no longer work in the same office, I worked for and with him for 4 years. I'm so sad. It does make me think about faith a whole lot and how short life really is...
Second, my dad had quadruple bypass a year and a half ago. He had chest pains again, went in for a catherization and came home with a stent. This happened to be the same day as my former boss funeral.
Third, I find out a good friend of mine is having QUADRUPLETS. Seriously, this only happens to people online, not people I know! I'm excited for her, praying and knowing this is going to be a long road ahead... but ready to support her in whatever way I can. Luckily, we both know God is in control.
Fourth, my husband has to travel for work this week.
Whew. What's next week going to bring?
Whatever it is, I just keep telling myself - "I can do all things through him who strengthens me." (Philippians 4.13) Amen!

Hang in there! Wow! Good luck to your friend with quads on the way. I have a good friend with triplets and we haven't seen them much since they were born. I think they are a bit crazy these days. Plus they moved further away when she was pregnant.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. May he rest in peace.
Hoping next week is smooth and quiet for you!
Thinking of ya Nity!
That is a LOT going on. Hope next week is less full of news (or at least more full of great news).
How are things generally?

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. It is so hard to know why God has the plans he does... but thank goodness we know it is all for the good of those who love him. He never promised us it would be easy, right? Only that we would have him with us along the way.
Prayers for a better week and peace regarding all of these things.
xoxo
Hi I saw your blog name at another blog's comment and I just had to stop by. I used to follow your blog in 2008 and stopped blogging as well. Glad to reconnect.
